About Development

Value of Experience Observing changes and new impulses in our surroundings are the ingredients of a fascinating business, namely real estate development. Giving a new purpose to an old building, defining the workplace of the future, evaluating prospects for new environments, providing safe parking lots, feeling the trends that touch the shopper, the office worker and the home owner and keeping track of ever changing wishes of society. All these things appear simple, but they are not. Each and every project is different. There is no such thing as routine. However it is our experience that prevents us from loosing sight of the bigger picture. I pleiku Real Estate Development realizes many projects all over the world for many different users. All our new developments are based on the accumulation of our knowledge, gathered from many different countries, visions and cultures. New inspiration for ideas comes from looking carefully at projects we have realized in the past, or from looking at them from a totally different angle. These projects gain an extra dimension from the sum of our experience, and through this we are able to enhance the quality of the environment in which we live, work and play. For us this is the tangible value of experience.

Vietnam News

HO CHI MINH CITY: IndoChina Land Holding, a developer of $1 billion of Vietnamese properties in the past decade, plans a similar amount of projects as the country's economy gains momentum after entering the World Trade Organization. IndoChina plans to develop office and residential buildings, making the investments over the next 18 months to 24 months, said Rick Mayo-Smith, chief executive officer of IndoChina Land. IndoChina Land is not alone. Dragon Capital, an investment bank which has stakes in hotels, golf courses and service apartments in Vietnam, says it is also planning more investments. Demand for homes, offices and hotels is increasing as the Southeast Asian nation predicts growth of as much as 8 percent each year for the next decade. The $53 billion economy may expand as much as 8.5 percent this year. The country joined the WTO in January, becoming the 150th member and the first new entrant since Saudi Arabia in December 2005. "Its starting to pick up pace. The property market is going to grow," said Mayo-Smith in an interview in Ho Chi Minh City on March 13. Vietnam has "demographic changes, a young population, a lot of foreign investment, so there's a lot of capital. That's driving the property market."
